About this fabric

The design is filled with butterflies in varied poses, slender flowering stems and small scattered insects, all drawn in warm beige, cream and muted taupe. Against the cool, misty blue-grey ground, the motifs have a softened contrast rather than a bright or graphic effect. The visible surface appears fine and even, allowing the intricate outlines and wing markings to remain clearly legible. No further composition, width or performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey colourway for relaxed curtains or full-length drapery, with warm ivory upholstery and pale timber to bring out the beige and taupe detailing.

Pair the cool blue-grey ground with warm ivory, linen and natural wood to balance the detailed butterfly-and-flower design.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
