About this fabric

Alize - Indigo is catalogued as a Fabric from Lelievre’s Misc collection, with no composition, width or performance features supplied. The dense pattern layers rounded scrolls, wave-like bands and crosshatched sections in muted taupe, cream, grey and blue-grey across the indigo ground. Fine linear detailing and visible woven texture give the surface depth, while the darker background makes the lighter motifs stand out clearly. Its substantial-looking, close-set design reads as an upholstery-led textile rather than a light, fluid cloth.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa, with plain taupe, oatmeal or charcoal textiles to keep the scrolling pattern composed. Warm wood and brushed brass will pick up the motif’s muted tan accents.

Pair the cool indigo ground with warm timber, taupe upholstery and aged metallic accents to balance its ornate scrolling pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
