Alize - Ambre

Misc Fabric0651-05

Alize in Ambre is a richly coloured textile with curling, cloud-like forms layered across a warm amber ground. Crosshatched sections and fine linear details give the pattern a distinctly graphic, woven appearance.

About this fabric

The colourway combines golden amber and ochre with rust-brown, charcoal and small cream accents, creating a warm but strongly contrasted surface. Large scrolling motifs overlap in a continuous arrangement, while crosshatch panels and narrow wave lines add changes of scale and texture to the design. The close, even weave visible in the swatch gives it a substantial upholstery-led appearance. No composition, width or rub-test data is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Ambre on a statement armchair, bench or headboard where its warm amber ground can sit alongside tobacco leather, dark wood and charcoal accents. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the curling forms remain the room’s focal point.

Use this warm amber colourway to bring graphic, layered character to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
