About this fabric

This Lelievre textile is visibly woven with a nubby, looped texture and closely spaced horizontal ridges rather than a printed motif. Its natural beige, cream and pale taupe tones create a warm, low-contrast colourway, while the uneven yarns add subtle depth across the surface. The cloth reads as a substantial upholstery-style weave from the close-up image, although no composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied.

How to use it

Use this warm natural colourway on an upholstered armchair, headboard or sofa where its broken cream-and-taupe texture can soften darker timber and add quiet depth to a neutral room.

Pair the warm natural ground with light timber, linen and softly aged neutrals for a relaxed upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
