Sorgho - Galet

Contrée Sauvage Fabric3249-02

Sorgho - Galet combines warm galet grey with oatmeal and soft cream in a closely textured woven surface. Its broken horizontal pattern gives the swatch a quiet, gently varied appearance rather than a sharp stripe.

About this fabric

The surface is densely woven with small, irregular horizontal bands, creating a tactile, nubby texture that is clearly visible across the swatch. Galet grey forms the grounding tone, while oatmeal, cream and deeper taupe flecks add subtle depth without making the colourway feel busy. The uneven distribution of light and dark threads gives the cloth a softly weathered, relaxed character. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm grey-beige colourway with chalky neutrals, natural oak and darker taupe accents; its flecked horizontal texture works especially well on a relaxed upholstered chair or sofa.

Use this warm, softly mottled galet colourway to bring tactile depth to occasional chairs, sofas or upholstered headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
