Sorgho - Camel

Contrée Sauvage Fabric3249-04

Sorgho - Camel combines a warm camel-tan ground with ivory and pale beige yarns in a closely packed, softly irregular weave. Its tactile surface gives the colourway a gentle, natural depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals small raised yarns and uneven flecks running across the surface, creating a richly nubby texture. Camel, biscuit and ivory tones mingle throughout the weave, while darker tan threads add subtle definition between the lighter fibres. The overall effect is warm, muted and softly mottled, with the texture catching the light in small highlights. Catalogued as a fabric, its visibly substantial woven character makes this colourway particularly well suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use Sorgho - Camel on an armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm camel tone can soften a room of chalky whites, timber and natural linens. Pair it with ivory and oatmeal accents to draw out the lighter flecks in the weave.

A warm camel and ivory texture that brings soft, tactile depth to relaxed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
