Feline - Mordore

Contrée Sauvage Fabric3248-03

Feline - Mordore brings irregular ochre-gold, feline-inspired markings to a pale ivory-beige ground. The dense, tactile weave gives the animal pattern a softly textured rather than sharply printed appearance.

About this fabric

The Mordore colourway combines a light ivory-beige ground with warm ochre-gold markings that vary in shape across the surface. Its visibly nubby woven texture softens the edges of the spots, while the pale ground prevents the pattern from reading as flat or overly dark. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm, earthy colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa, balancing its ochre animal pattern with quiet neutrals, timber and aged metal.

Pair this warm ochre-and-beige textile with natural timber, tan leather and softly aged brass.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Feline - Mordore without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
