About this fabric

The close, ribbed weave gives this colourway a gently structured surface, while the fine fringe introduces a loose, irregular edge. Its cement-grey ground is softened by warm oatmeal and stone notes, creating a neutral with more depth than a flat grey. Raised threads catch the light along the curved swatch, while the recessed channels appear slightly darker and more shadowed. The narrow, decorative character makes it particularly suited to upholstery borders, edging and other tactile details.

How to use it

Pair Frisage Cement with chalky whites, pale taupes and weathered timber for a restrained, textural scheme. Its cool cement base also works well as a quiet contrast against deeper charcoal or warm natural linen.

Use this softly fringed cement-grey textile to add tactile definition to upholstered edges and decorative detailing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
