Accent Ii Fabric

Melange Chestnut has a richly tactile appearance, with loose fringe-like yarns creating a layered surface across the warm brown ground. Chestnut, taupe and deeper charcoal notes mingle through the weave for a softly weathered finish.

About this fabric

The swatch shows densely arranged, loose yarns in chestnut brown, taupe and charcoal, giving the surface a gently melanged appearance rather than a flat single colour. Its pronounced fringe-like texture creates visible relief, with individual strands catching the light at different angles. The darker threads add depth to the warm brown base, while lighter fibres soften the overall effect. This is a substantial-looking woven textile suited to upholstery-led schemes where texture is intended to be seen and felt.

How to use it

Pair the warm chestnut tone with aged wood, natural linen and softly faded neutrals for a relaxed, collected interior. Its darker flecks also work well alongside charcoal accents and antique metal finishes.

Use this warm, softly variegated chestnut tone on upholstered pieces where its tactile fringe can add depth and character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
