About this fabric

The swatch shows a repeating damask of curling leaves, scrolling stems and detailed floral heads, worked in grey-green against a lighter, softly mottled ground. Its vintage green is cool and restrained rather than bright, allowing the elaborate motif to read with gentle depth instead of sharp contrast. The visible medium-weight textile character makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test information are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use this subdued grey-green colourway on a traditional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its tonal damask can provide pattern without dominating the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and soft grey-green accents to draw out its cool, timeworn quality.

The muted grey-green palette softens the formal damask for quietly layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
