Minerva Couture Blue

Muscovy Fabric

Minerva Couture Blue has a cool, smoky blue-grey ground overlaid with deep charcoal-blue scrolling foliage and floral damask. Its softly mottled surface keeps the ornate pattern from appearing stark.

About this fabric

The large-scale design combines curling acanthus leaves, rounded floral heads and scrolling stems in a closely drawn, traditional arrangement. Tonally restrained blue-grey and charcoal shades create depth through contrast rather than brightness, giving the pattern a quietly dramatic presence. The visible surface has a compact, subtly textured appearance that reads as suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-grey colourway with weathered timber, charcoal upholstery and pale mineral walls, or use it on curtains to give a room an enveloping, formal atmosphere.

Use this cool blue-grey damask to bring quiet, formal depth to upholstery, curtains or accent cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
