About this fabric

The surface is formed by an irregular arrangement of rectangular sections, each picked out by fine linear yarn markings rather than a sharp printed outline. Midnight blue-grey tones move subtly across the blocks, creating a low-contrast pattern that appears deeper in some areas and lighter in others. The close, structured weave gives the fabric a substantial visual presence suited to upholstery. Under changing light, the fine lines add gentle texture while the overall colour remains composed and muted.

How to use it

Use Cubist Midnight on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its deep slate-blue tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale stone, chalky grey or warm timber to bring out the contrast between its cool colour and textured geometry.

A deep slate-blue woven texture that brings quiet structure and depth to upholstered furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
