Cubist Pewter

Outline Fabric

Cubist Pewter presents a cool, softly muted grey ground with a finely woven geometric design. Small rectangular blocks shift direction across the surface, creating a restrained, textural check rather than a bold graphic pattern.

About this fabric

The pewter tone has a silvery, slightly industrial character, while the low-contrast pattern keeps the overall effect calm and considered. Within each rectangular block, closely spaced linear threads change direction, giving the surface a delicate variation that becomes clearer on closer inspection. The weave adds visual depth without introducing strong colour contrast, making this a quietly architectural colourway. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Cubist Pewter with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a cool contemporary room, or use it to temper deeper charcoal and blue-grey accents. Its subtle blockwork is especially effective on tailored upholstery and full-length curtains where the texture can catch changing light.

Use its cool pewter tone to bring quiet structure to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cubist Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
