About this fabric

The close-up reveals alternating dark indigo and light ivory bands, with small tonal variations in the weave adding depth across each block. The pattern is directional without relying on a single continuous stripe, as the horizontal sections break and realign from one column to the next. Indigo reads as cool and substantial here, while the ivory threads soften the contrast and keep the design from feeling overly stark. The textured woven surface and structured repeat make this colourway particularly well suited to tailored upholstery.

How to use it

Pair M584 Indigo with warm ivory, chalk or pale timber accents to balance its cool blue depth. On a chair, bench or occasional sofa, the staggered geometry can act as a controlled graphic focal point.

Use this deeply contrasted indigo and ivory weave to give upholstered seating a tailored, graphic finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
