M552 Ocean

Shibu Fabric

M552 Ocean presents a cool blue-grey surface with a fine, closely drawn grid that gives the colour gentle depth. The restrained weave has a softly tactile, almost heathered appearance rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a dense woven texture made from tiny intersecting lines, creating a subtle crosshatch across the blue-grey ground. Its Ocean colour reads as muted and cool, with lighter threads catching across the surface to prevent the shade from appearing heavy or overly saturated. The small-scale texture keeps the pattern discreet while adding visible material interest at close range. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair M552 Ocean with chalky whites, pale timber and cool stone for a calm, contemporary scheme, or use it to temper warmer woods without losing the room’s softness. Its fine grid is especially suited to tailored seating, cushions and understated curtains.

Use this cool blue-grey weave to bring quiet texture to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
