Town Driftwood

Timeless Plains Fabric

Town Driftwood reads as a deep, smoky grey-brown across the swatch, with a restrained plain weave and barely visible tonal variation. Its matte surface keeps the colour grounded rather than glossy.

About this fabric

The close, even weave gives Town Driftwood a subtle textile texture without introducing a visible motif or directional pattern. Its tone sits between charcoal and weathered brown, creating a muted, earthy depth that changes gently across the surface. Fine vertical and horizontal threads can be seen on close inspection, lending the plain cloth a softly tactile finish. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the deep driftwood tone on a tailored chair, sofa or full-length curtain, pairing it with warm timber, aged leather and pale mineral shades to soften its charcoal-brown depth.

Use this dark grey-brown plain weave to bring quiet depth to tailored upholstery or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
