M647 Chestnut

Odyssey Fabric

M647 Chestnut combines a muted chestnut-brown ground with broken horizontal bands of pale, softly irregular threads. The fine woven texture gives the colourway a calm, layered appearance rather than a flat block of brown.

About this fabric

The fabric reads as a warm taupe-brown overall, with subtle grey and beige inflections visible through its closely set vertical grain. Uneven horizontal bands interrupt the ground at regular intervals, while small gaps and denser thread clusters keep the stripe effect informal and tactile. The restrained contrast allows the chestnut tone to remain dominant, with the lighter threads catching the eye across the surface. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification data.

How to use it

Use M647 Chestnut on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-height curtain where its warm brown depth can sit alongside natural timber, stone and softly contrasting creams. The horizontal bands can also help emphasise width on a simple upholstered form.

A warm, textural horizontal weave that brings understated depth to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
