Timeless Embroideries Fabric

M651 Cumin brings a warm, earthy cumin-taupe ground together with regularly spaced ivory botanical motifs. The pale embroidered-looking forms stand out clearly against the softly textured brown surface.

About this fabric

The design is composed of small, elongated floral and leafy motifs arranged in an open repeat, giving the colourway a calm sense of rhythm rather than a dense overall pattern. Its cumin-taupe ground reads warm and muted, while the ivory motifs add a gentle, chalky contrast. Fine vertical and horizontal surface texture is visible across the cloth, subtly breaking up the depth of the brown tone. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair M651 Cumin with natural timber, aged brass and warm ivory upholstery for an earthy, quietly decorative scheme. Its muted cumin tone also works well as a soft patterned accent against cream, mushroom or deeper brown plains.

Use this warm cumin-taupe colourway to add softly patterned depth to relaxed upholstery or filtered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
