About this fabric

The cloth has a fine, even weave in a pale flax tone that sits between beige and gentle taupe, with a subtle natural variation visible across the ground. Small ivory motifs repeat in ordered rows, each formed from intricate floral and scrolling details with a slightly raised embroidered appearance. The low-contrast palette keeps the pattern light and calm rather than graphic, while the narrow vertical orientation adds a restrained sense of movement. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use M651 Flax for relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or softly gathered panels where its warm beige ground can soften a neutral room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and natural linens to highlight the contrast between the flax base and ivory embroidery.

A softly textured flax-beige ground with delicate ivory motifs for understated curtains and blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside M651 Flax without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
