Vine Dark Olive

Queen Square Fabrics FabricMOF0147-01

Vine Dark Olive is a densely drawn botanical fabric with a deep olive-teal ground, curling leafy stems and repeated clusters of warm orange berries. The cool green depth makes the russet fruit appear especially vivid across the surface.

About this fabric

This 262 gsm fabric has a 137.2 cm usable width and a square 45.7 cm pattern repeat in both directions. Fine leafy sprays overlap into an intricate all-over arrangement, while the small orange berry clusters provide concentrated points of warmth against the dark ground. The colour reads as a blue-leaning olive teal rather than a plain khaki, giving the design a cool, jewel-like depth. With 35.8 threads per centimetre, the cloth has a detailed, closely constructed appearance suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this dark olive-teal colourway on a statement armchair, bench or full-length curtains where its orange berries can be echoed with russet cushions, aged brass or warm wood. Keep surrounding walls and upholstery quieter so the dense vine drawing remains the focus.

Use the cool olive-teal ground as a rich anchor, pairing it with warm timber, russet accents and quieter natural neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vine Dark Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
