Bibury - Lichen

Misc Fabric

Bibury - Lichen is a quiet plaid of mossy lichen green, oatmeal and grey, crossed by warm brown lines. The close view shows a softly napped, irregular surface that tempers the checks rather than making them look crisp.

About this fabric

The medium-scale check is formed from overlapping vertical and horizontal bands in muted lichen green, oatmeal, cool grey and warm brown. Lichen green gives the colourway its distinctive mossy note, while the pale ground keeps the overall effect light and softly weathered. The visible weave has a brushed, slightly fuzzy texture that diffuses the edges of each stripe. No composition, width or rub-test details are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this lichen green plaid on a relaxed armchair, footstool or sofa where its muted green and warm brown lines can sit comfortably with natural wood, oatmeal linen and aged leather. Its softened contrast also makes it a useful choice for a calm country-style scheme.

A softly checked lichen green with a brushed woven texture, well suited to relaxed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
