Franklin - Evergreen

Misc Fabric

Franklin in Evergreen has a richly layered, close-set geometric design, with tiny diamond motifs shifting between moss green, rust, tan and charcoal. Its dark ground gives the colourway a deep, softly weathered appearance.

About this fabric

The small repeating diamonds create a finely patterned surface rather than a single, flat shade. Deep evergreen and charcoal form the base, while muted rust and tan details add warmth and make individual motifs emerge across the cloth. The visibly textured weave softens the contrast, giving the pattern a tactile, subtly aged character. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its suitability should be assessed against the intended upholstery or drapery application.

How to use it

Use Franklin Evergreen on a statement occasional chair, bench or relaxed pair of curtains where its dark moss tone can sit alongside warm wood, brown leather and restrained rust textiles. Keep surrounding pieces relatively quiet so the small-scale pattern reads as texture as well as decoration.

Pair the deep evergreen ground with warm timber, aged leather and muted rust accents for a layered, collected scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Franklin - Evergreen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
