Kintail - Limestone

Misc Fabric

Kintail in Limestone is a quiet, textural woven design with a pale limestone ground and slim, irregular grey lines running vertically through the cloth. Its close-up surface has a softly flecked, tactile character rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

The colourway combines warm ivory-beige and cool grey threads, creating a muted limestone tone that reads light but has noticeable depth. Narrow, broken vertical bands repeat across the width, with the woven marks giving the pattern a gently feathered edge. The dense-looking construction and directional design make it particularly suited to structured upholstery where the subtle stripe can add height and rhythm. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this colourway, so no performance rating should be assumed from the appearance alone.

How to use it

Use Limestone on a tailored armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its pale beige-grey tone can soften darker timber and bring quiet vertical definition to the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, natural oak and restrained charcoal accents to echo the cool threads without making the scheme feel stark.

A softly mottled limestone ground with fine grey vertical movement, well suited to tailored upholstery in calm, neutral rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
