Elva Fabric

Zyla Porcelain has a pale porcelain-ivory ground with a delicate, closely woven surface. Fine vertical and horizontal threads create a subtle, lightly gridded texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The cool ivory tone stays soft and airy, while the tiny woven structure adds just enough definition to prevent the surface from appearing flat. Close inspection shows slim vertical lines crossed by fine horizontal threads, producing a neat textile texture with very little visual contrast. Its even, mid-weight-looking weave makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery applications. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair this pale porcelain shade with chalky whites, cool stone and light grey for a clean, restrained interior. Its fine texture would also soften darker timber or painted furniture without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool porcelain ivory weave to bring quiet lightness to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
