About this fabric
The surface is built from closely woven threads with fine horizontal irregularities, giving the colour a gently mottled appearance rather than a flat finish. Its warm tan tone shifts noticeably through the folds, where shadow creates deeper caramel-brown channels beside lighter highlights. No separate motif is visible; the character comes from the small-scale woven texture and softly uneven surface. The draped presentation suggests a substantial, versatile textile that can work across upholstery and window treatments.
How to use it
Pair Umi Tamarind with chalky cream, natural timber and darker brown accents for a warm, grounded scheme. Its softly shaded tan surface would also temper sharper black or aged-brass details.
