Mendel Wallcovering Egret

Mendel Wallcovering Egret has a pale, near-white egret tone with a finely textured surface. The close-up reveals a delicate woven-looking grid and softly varied flecks rather than a bold printed motif.

About this wallpaper

As a wallpaper from Romo’s Etsu Wallcoverings collection, Mendel Egret is defined here by its light cream colouring and subtle surface texture. Fine horizontal and vertical threads create a restrained crosshatched effect, while tiny tonal variations keep the pale ground from appearing flat. The overall impression is cool, airy and quietly refined, with the texture visible without overwhelming the room.

How to use it

Use this soft egret cream wallcovering where you want a light, calm backdrop with more depth than a plain painted surface. It would suit pared-back rooms in chalky whites, pale woods and gentle grey-beiges.

A softly mottled egret cream wallcovering that brings quiet texture and light to a room.

Pairs well with

Mendel Wallcovering Egret is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
