About this fabric

This colourway reads as a light plaster neutral, combining a muted blush cast with a fine grey-beige undertone. The close, even weave is visible across the swatch as tiny vertical and horizontal threads, creating a softly tactile surface. There is no distinct pattern; instead, understated tonal variation keeps the pale ground from appearing completely flat. The overall finish is quiet, chalky and softly matte, with a restrained warmth that distinguishes it from a colder white or grey.

How to use it

Use Alana Plaster to keep a room light and calm, pairing its pale blush-taupe tone with chalky whites, warm stone and natural timber. It would work equally well as quiet upholstery or softly textured curtains where a gentle pink-neutral lift is wanted.

A softly textured plaster-toned neutral for calm upholstery, curtains and understated layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
