Kara Stone

Kara Stone is a light warm greige with a quietly tactile surface. In close view, its fine plain weave gives the colour gentle tonal variation rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The stone tone sits between pale beige and soft grey, with a warm cast that keeps it inviting rather than cool. A fine, closely packed weave is visible across the surface, creating subtle texture without a printed motif. The even structure and restrained colour give this Istra fabric a relaxed, understated character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Kara Stone where a warm greige backdrop is needed: on relaxed upholstery, Roman blinds or full-length curtains. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted taupes to bring out its soft stone depth.

A quiet warm greige with a fine woven surface for calm, tonal interiors.

Pairs well with

Kara Stone is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
