Okero Buxton Blue

Okero Fabric

Okero Buxton Blue is a cool, muted blue woven with a softly striated surface. Fine tonal variation keeps the cloth from reading as a flat solid.

About this fabric

The face is a deep denim-to-slate blue, with closely packed vertical lines creating a quiet, directional grain. Small shifts between blue threads give the surface a softly mottled finish rather than a printed motif. Its dense-looking weave makes it a considered upholstery choice where a calm blue ground is preferred over a high-contrast pattern. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Buxton Blue on an armchair, sofa or occasional seat where its cool slate tone can balance warm timber and cream upholstery. The subtle vertical texture also works well with other restrained, tactile surfaces.

Pair this cool, softly striated blue with warm woods, chalky neutrals and brushed metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
