About this fabric

The swatch shows a chalky white tone with a faintly cool, softened cast rather than a stark brilliant white. Fine vertical striations run through the surface, adding just enough texture to make the cloth visibly tactile while keeping the overall effect restrained. There is no pronounced motif or contrasting pattern, so the quiet weave remains the defining detail of this colourway. Its light, delicate-looking construction makes it especially suited to softly filtering drapery.

How to use it

Use Okero Chalk at a window where its near-white tone can reflect daylight without looking severe. Pair it with warm timber, pale stone and softly coloured upholstery to bring out the shade’s gentle, airy character.

Use the soft chalk-white tone for understated curtains that keep a room feeling bright and calm.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
