Ruskin Fabric

Ruskin Egret presents a near-white ivory ground with a delicate, all-over woven grain. Its softly mottled surface gives the otherwise light colour a little warmth and depth.

About this fabric

Ruskin Egret is a quiet, pale ivory shade, close to warm white rather than a strong cream. The close plain weave is visible as tiny intersecting threads, with a lightly irregular surface that keeps the colour from looking flat. There is no printed motif or pile in the image, so the interest comes from the restrained woven texture. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory tone at windows where it can soften brighter whites, or layer it with natural neutrals for a calm, lightly textured scheme.

Use this warm ivory weave for softly textured curtains that keep a room light and calm.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
