Ruskin Briosca has a pale warm beige ground with a quiet, linen-like texture. Fine vertical variation across the weave gives the otherwise plain surface gentle depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a soft blend of biscuit, oatmeal and light stone, with a warm undertone rather than a cool grey cast. Close up, delicate vertical threads and tiny tonal irregularities create a lightly slubbed appearance that catches the light very subtly. Its plain construction and restrained contrast give this colourway a relaxed, natural character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm pale beige to soften a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted taupes. Its quiet vertical texture also works well as a calm backdrop for darker leather or patterned cushions.

A softly textured pale beige for calm, light-filled upholstery, curtains or relaxed layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
