About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense-looking woven face, built from narrow vertical tracks that are interrupted by small horizontal flecks and broken marks. Its predominantly pale greige tone feels warm and mineral rather than stark, with charcoal-grey threads adding definition without dominating the ground. Variations in the weave create a lightly weathered, tactile appearance as the light moves across the surface. The compact linear texture makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstery where a restrained pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Santo Stone on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its pale stone tone can soften darker timber and accentuate charcoal or taupe details. Pair it with chalky neutrals and natural woods for a calm, textural scheme.

A pale stone ground with fine broken striations brings quiet texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
