Chiraco Wallcovering Serandite

Chiraco Wallcovering Serandite layers expansive fronds, fern-like sprays and delicate leaf stems across a deep charcoal ground. Dusty pink, blue-grey, rust and muted ochre accents give the dense botanical scene a quietly dramatic, vintage-inspired depth.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper is built around a near-black charcoal background that makes the foliage appear especially graphic and dimensional. Large overlapping fronds are picked out in blue-grey, cream, rust and ochre linear marks, while dusty pink leaves soften the darker composition. Fine fern sprays add pale blue-grey and warm coral detail between the broader leaves, creating a richly packed surface with plenty to discover. Catalogued as wallpaper, it is suited to wall applications where this ornate botanical scale can be appreciated across a broad area.

How to use it

Use the charcoal ground to create a dramatic study, dining room or bedroom, balancing it with warm timber, aged brass and upholstery in dusty blush, rust or blue-grey. The muted rather than vivid palette also works well with soft cream accents to lift the darker wall.

Use this dramatic charcoal botanical wallpaper to bring layered colour and an ornate, collected feel to a room.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chiraco Wallcovering Serandite without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
