Kasuri Chilli

Kasuri Chilli brings a warm, painterly rhythm to the wall, with elongated chilli-orange forms rising against a softly creamy ground. Its gentle, blurred edges give the geometric pattern a tactile, hand-worked character.

About this fabric

Kasuri Chilli sets slender, elongated diamond forms in a burnt chilli-orange against a warm cream ground. The orange is richly earthen rather than bright, while softly feathered, horizontal brush-like striations give each form a woven-looking depth. With a 52 cm usable width, 10.05 m standard length and a 26 cm vertical repeat, the roll creates a clearly ordered vertical layout; the stated horizontal repeat is 0 cm. The listed weight is 158 gsm.

How to use it

Pair this warm chilli-orange colourway with pale timber, natural fibres and restrained cream furnishings for a calm Japandi scheme. It works especially well as a feature wall where the vertical motif can provide rhythm without introducing a cold or overly formal contrast.

Use the warm cream and earthen orange palette to bring a softly graphic Japandi feel to a feature wall or full room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
