Passaro Ginger/Teal brings stylised ginger and teal birds to a warm grey ground, where pale branch outlines create an airy, graphic backdrop. The birds’ white dot and line details add definition without disturbing the muted Japandi feel.

About this fabric

This colourway combines warm ginger, rusty orange and dusty coral with deep teal and blue-green birds against a soft grey-taupe background. Pale outlined branches and leaves weave between the birds, while white decorative marks pick out wings, bodies and tails. Supplied as wallpaper with a 52 cm usable width and 10.05 m standard length, the design has a 52 cm vertical repeat and a 0 cm horizontal repeat. Its listed weight is 190 gsm.

How to use it

Use the warm grey background as the room’s neutral base, then echo the ginger birds in timber, leather or terracotta accents and pick up the teal with painted joinery or glazed ceramics.

A warm grey ground gives the ginger and teal bird motif a graphic, characterful feel suited to feature walls and playful modern schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
