Japandi Wallpapers WallpaperSCW0040-02

Aikyo Hemp presents a cool dove-grey ground crossed by a precise honeycomb of muted ochre lines. Within each angular cell, fine white rays form a repeated fan motif, giving the surface a delicate layered rhythm.

About this fabric

The geometric pattern is made from interlocking hexagonal outlines in soft ochre, with white radiating lines opening across the grey cells like stylised leaves or fans. This colourway feels cool and restrained overall, while the ochre edging adds a measured note of warmth without overpowering the pale ground. The wallpaper has a listed usable width of 52cm, a standard length of 10.05m and a vertical pattern repeat of 52cm; the horizontal repeat is listed as 0cm. Its supplied weight is 190gsm, and the close, flat printed detail keeps the fine white linework clearly visible.

How to use it

Pair the dove-grey and ochre palette with pale timber, chalky neutrals and simple black accents for a calm Japandi scheme. Use it across a study, bedroom or feature wall where the repeating fan lines can be read at close range.

Use the cool grey ground with warm ochre lines to bring quiet Japandi geometry to a feature wall or whole room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aikyo Hemp without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
