Canter Print Dawn Pink

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0135-03

Canter Print Dawn Pink pairs a warm ivory ground with a fine all-over pattern of loosely drawn horses in pale blush-pink lines. The restrained contrast keeps the repeating motif light and airy rather than bold.

About this fabric

This 252gsm printed fabric has a small-scale equestrian motif, with individual horse figures recurring across the cloth in delicate, slightly sketch-like outlines. The soft pink drawing reads as muted and warm against the creamy ivory background, while the open ground prevents the pattern from feeling dense. A usable width of 142.5cm and a 34cm vertical by 69cm horizontal repeat make the layout practical to plan across upholstery or drapery. With 38 threads per centimetre, the cloth has a defined textile surface that supports its fine printed detail.

How to use it

Use Dawn Pink where a gentle blush accent is wanted without losing the brightness of an ivory scheme: it would suit relaxed curtains, a window seat cushion or a small upholstered chair. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and warm white rather than highly saturated pinks.

Use the warm ivory ground and fine blush horse motifs to bring a light, characterful note to curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Canter Print Dawn Pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
