Duckweed Weave Lawn

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0137-02

Duckweed Weave Lawn has a softly mottled appearance, with fine duckweed-green squiggles dispersed across a warm cream ground. The restrained contrast gives this colourway a quiet, organic rhythm rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

This 318gsm woven fabric combines a warm cream base with a muted, slightly yellowed green motif that reads as soft duckweed rather than bright foliage. Fine irregular lines form a densely textured, almost embroidered-looking surface, while the small-scale design keeps the overall impression calm and even. The pattern repeats over 15cm vertically and 12cm horizontally, creating continuous movement without large visual breaks. With a 139cm usable width and 51 threads per centimetre, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for upholstery, cushions and drapery.

How to use it

Use the gentle duckweed-and-cream pairing on an upholstered chair, bench or cushion where its fine looping texture can be appreciated up close. It also sits comfortably with warm timber, natural fibres and softly aged neutral finishes.

A softly textured cream-and-duckweed weave that brings subtle movement to upholstery, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
