Falling Foss Weave Dawn

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0138-01

Falling Foss Weave Dawn combines a pale peach-blush ground with delicate ivory linework, creating a softly layered pattern of foliage and flowing, wave-like forms. The woven surface gives the light colourway a subtle textile grain rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This 330 gsm fabric has a 138 cm usable width, giving the repeated design a practical mid-weight presence for upholstery and drapery. Ivory botanical forms sit across the warm blush ground, with fine curved lines, leafy details and small peach-toned accents creating gentle depth. The pattern repeats every 55 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally, so its medium-scale rhythm remains clearly visible across a larger upholstered or hung area. With 67 threads per cm, the close construction adds definition to the fine woven texture.

How to use it

Use Dawn to bring a quiet peach warmth to an armchair, headboard or relaxed curtain, balancing it with chalky ivory, oatmeal and pale timber. Its low-contrast botanical pattern works especially well where the room needs softness without a strong saturated colour.

Pair the soft blush ground with ivory, warm neutrals and natural woven textures for a gentle, light-filled scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Falling Foss Weave Dawn without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
