Dancing Daisies Print Cornflower

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0136-03

Dancing Daisies Print Cornflower brings a cool, light-filled floral to the collection, with pale blue bell-shaped blooms scattered among green leaves and fine stems. The dense pattern is softened by its white ground, giving the colourway a fresh, airy appearance.

About this fabric

The Cornflower colourway pairs soft blue flowers with olive and leafy greens, while tiny darker blue and grey details add definition across the pale ground. Its compact floral repeat measures 26.5cm vertically by 28cm horizontally, creating an evenly distributed pattern rather than a large-scale statement. With a usable width of 140cm, 252 gsm weight and 38 threads per cm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The overall effect is crisp and botanical, with the blue reading cool and gently muted against the brighter white areas.

How to use it

Use the pale Cornflower blue to bring a cool, fresh note to a bedroom blind, pair of curtains or occasional chair. Echo the leafy greens with painted timber, sage accents or natural wood, keeping surrounding plains light so the small-scale floral remains clear.

A fresh, detailed floral combining cool blue blooms with leafy green on a light ground.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dancing Daisies Print Cornflower without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
