Canter Print Ink

Oakham Fabrics FabricSCF0135-02

Canter Print Ink pairs a soft cream ground with delicate ink-blue outlines of prancing horses, creating a distinctive equestrian print with a cool, graphic feel. The closely spaced motifs give the surface lively movement without overwhelming the pale background.

About this fabric

The small horse figures are drawn in fine, slightly varied blue linework, with details such as tails, legs and harnesses clearly visible across the cream field. At 252 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight textile with a smooth printed appearance rather than a visibly heavy or plush surface. The pattern repeats every 34 cm vertically and 69 cm horizontally, establishing an even rhythm across the 142.5 cm usable width. Its restrained cream-and-ink palette keeps the playful subject matter feeling fresh and composed.

How to use it

Use the cool ink-blue and cream combination for relaxed upholstery, cushions or curtains in a country-inspired room with natural timber and quiet blue accents. The pale ground keeps the print airy, while the fine horse outlines add character at close range.

A light-hearted equestrian print with crisp ink-blue linework over a soft cream ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
