About this fabric

The large-scale leaf motif combines warm cinnamon ochre with chalky cream, pale blue and soft grey forms against the slate background. Its 91.4 cm vertical repeat and 139 cm horizontal repeat create a confidently expansive pattern, with stems and overlapping leaves producing clear movement across the cloth. At 220 gsm with 24 threads per cm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile, while the 139 cm useable width gives generous coverage. The colour balance feels cooler overall than the cinnamon accents suggest, making the design lively without becoming bright or brash.

How to use it

Pair this slate-led colourway with warm oak, putty upholstery and brushed metal, letting the cinnamon leaves introduce restrained warmth through curtains, cushions or occasional seating.

Use the cool slate ground to balance warm wood, while cinnamon leaves add a measured accent.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
