Nuevo Indigo / Slate / Satsuma

Nuevo Fabrics FabricSCF0060-02

Nuevo Indigo / Slate / Satsuma brings a precise geometric rhythm of indigo and slate-blue triangles, cream blocks and narrow satsuma-yellow accents. The balanced layout has a cool, graphic clarity, while the warm yellow notes prevent the colourway from feeling stark.

About this fabric

Angular triangles, rectangles and stepped colour blocks form the repeated pattern, with indigo and slate blues set against cream and pale neutral grounds. Fine surface grain is visible across the 220 gsm cloth, giving the flat geometric shapes a subtle textile softness rather than a completely hard-edged appearance. The fabric has a usable width of 139 cm and a vertical repeat of 64 cm by a horizontal repeat of 69.5 cm, creating a clearly measured pattern for planning joins and placement. Supplied in a standard 40 m length, it offers a practical mid-weight specification for coordinated upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo and slate shapes on a contemporary occasional chair, roman blind or full-length curtain, then pick up the satsuma-yellow blocks with a small cushion or painted accent. Cream upholstery and pale timber will keep the geometric repeat light, while darker blue furnishings will draw out its depth.

A crisp mid-weight geometric in cool blue, chalky neutrals and warm satsuma yellow, suited to contemporary upholstery and window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
