About this fabric

This Scion fabric weighs 343gsm and has a 140cm usable width, giving it a substantial mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its closely spaced linear motif uses intersecting strokes in a deeper slate grey, set against a softly contrasting blue-grey background. With a 37cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, the pattern has enough movement to read clearly without becoming dominant. The supplied construction is 107 threads per cm, supporting the finely detailed appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Saxony Slate to bring a cool, softened graphic note to a reading chair, headboard or Roman blind, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and deeper charcoal accents. Its blue-grey ground also works well as a quiet curtain fabric where the dense linework can be appreciated at close range.
