About this fabric

The surface is marked by fine, irregular strokes that cross and overlap in a loose, all-over pattern, creating gentle tonal depth within the steel-grey colourway. At 343 gsm and 107 threads per cm, it has a substantial textile presence suited to upholstered furniture. The 140 cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the pattern repeats every 37 cm vertically and 35 cm horizontally. Its restrained grey tone and softly diffused motif give seating a modern, quietly detailed finish.

How to use it

Pair Saxony Steel with chalky whites, pale woods and brushed metal for a cool, contemporary scheme. Its muted grey depth also works well on a statement armchair or compact sofa where the intersecting pattern can be appreciated up close.
