About this fabric

This semi-plain colourway reads as an airy cornflower blue with a gentle grey cast, giving the shade a softened, quietly sophisticated appearance. The close weave shows delicate horizontal and vertical irregularities, adding visual depth while keeping the overall look restrained. At approximately 137cm wide, it is supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. Its composition combines 30% linen, 19% wool, 19% polyester, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% nylon; after-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Pair Freya Cornflower with chalky whites, pale oak and cool grey for a fresh, light scheme, or use it against deeper navy and charcoal to bring out its muted blue depth. Its quiet woven texture works particularly well on tailored curtains or a simply shaped upholstered chair.

Use this pale, cool blue weave to bring quiet colour to curtains, fixed upholstery and relaxed contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
