Kami Ocean

Kami Fabric

Kami Ocean is a richly coloured geometric textile, centred on a deep ocean-blue ground. Pale blue, lilac, cream, ochre and small coral-red details build an intricate, kilim-inspired repeat across the surface.

About this fabric

The dark navy ground gives this colourway a cool, grounded depth, while the lighter blue and lilac motifs bring a softly faded contrast rather than a bright, high-saturation effect. Repeating medallions, stepped diamonds and small floral-like geometric details create the large-scale pattern visible across the swatch. Kami Ocean is 137cm wide and made from 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, with 3% shrinkage to be allowed for. Its supplied usage is curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grading.

How to use it

Pair Kami Ocean with warm ivory, weathered wood and aged brass to soften its cool navy base, or draw out the ochre and coral accents for a more layered scheme. It can be used on a statement chair, sofa or full-length curtains where the geometric repeat has room to show.

Use the deep navy ground to anchor rooms, with lilac, pale blue, ochre and coral accents echoed in cushions or painted details.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
