Kami Persian

Kami Fabric

Kami Persian is a richly coloured kilim-inspired textile, filled with repeating geometric forms in deep navy, coral red, blush pink, cream and ochre. The close-set pattern has a strong ornamental rhythm, with small stepped motifs linking larger medallion-like shapes.

About this fabric

The navy ground gives this colourway depth, while coral and salmon-red motifs bring warmth and the cream and ochre details pick out the intricate pattern. Listed at approximately 137cm wide, Kami Persian is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades supplied. Its composition is 88% Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, with 3% shrinkage allowed. Care options include Delicate Wash at 30°C, Dry Clean and Spongeable treatment.

How to use it

Pair the deep navy and warm coral tones with plain upholstery in navy, oat or soft terracotta, or use the design on curtains to make the patterned repeat a room’s focal point. Its multicolour palette also works well with aged wood, brass and woven natural accessories.

Use the navy and coral palette to bring patterned character to upholstery, curtains or a relaxed layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
