Freya Periwinkle

Freya FabricLF2134

Freya Periwinkle is a pale, cool blue woven in a fine semi-plain texture, with a subtle lilac cast visible across the surface. Its softly mottled appearance gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, solid finish.

About this fabric

This Linwood fabric has a closely woven, lightly crosshatched surface that blends periwinkle blue with delicate grey-lilac and white threads. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, making it suitable for coordinating window treatments with seating. The composition combines 30% linen, 19% wool, 19% polyester, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% nylon. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, with dry-clean care specified.

How to use it

Use this cool periwinkle colourway to bring a quiet blue-lilac note to an otherwise neutral room, particularly on tailored curtains or a structured chair. Pair it with chalky whites, soft grey, bleached timber and muted lavender accents to echo the fabric’s fine woven variation.

A cool, softly textured periwinkle weave suited to tailored curtains, upholstered seating and calm blue-lilac schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
